Phatgiao.org.vn, the official Buddhist information portal of Vietnam, reports that Nepalese nun and artist Ani Choying Drolma will participate in two nights of Sound Healing Concert 2026 | NHÂN – The Inner Seed in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on 12 and 19 September respectively.
The Ho Chi Minh City performance takes place at GEM Center, 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Sai Gon Ward. One week later, the program continues at Hanoi Opera House (Ho Guom Opera), Hang Bai Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi — one night in each city.
This year's program carries the theme NHÂN – The Inner Seed. According to organizer Sound Healing World, the content is built around the idea of origin and core values within each person. On stage, Ani Choying Drolma will perform mantra chants while sharing stories connected to the theme.
“NHÂN” is described as a small seed containing the potential for growth and transformation. The organizers hope audiences can receive the story through sound, regardless of language differences.
Born in Nepal, Ani Choying Drolma is known for her mantra chants and Sanskrit meditation songs. As a nun, she once led chanting sessions at Nagi Gompa nunnery on the outskirts of Kathmandu. She has described mantra chanting not as entertainment music, but as music that guides listeners toward inner experience.
This is the second year Ani Choying Drolma performs in the Sound Healing Concert series in Vietnam. In 2025, both nights were held in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting audiences from Hanoi, other provinces, and abroad. Adding a Hanoi venue this year responds to demand from northern audiences.
Beyond the two concerts, Ani Choying Drolma is expected to join meet-and-greet sessions in both cities — conversations, book signings, and photo opportunities for select ticket tiers and pre-registered groups.
